The Missing Piece Theatre Company Presents a Timeless Classic

Written by Lucia Winkler On the weekends of Oct. 10-12 and 17-19, the Gem Theater in Mulberry was transformed into Grover's Corners, a tight-knit community where the renowned play, Our Town, takes place. A painted moon shone brightly at the theater with a luminous, yellow hue. The stage was set with minimal props, but would creatively encapsulate a much larger setting. GJHS Holds Annual Teacher-Student Talent Show

Written by Lucia Winkler On Thursday, January 23, GJHS held its annual Teacher-Student Talent Contest in the auditorium so that students and teachers could showcase their creative pursuits. The talent show was hosted by Mr. Mayys, a teacher here at GJHS, and Milee Hasting, one of Winter Park’s Teen pageant winners. Gabe Bourque won 1st place for the second time in two years after his moving piano rendition of “Die With A Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. The second-place winner was Luis Ozuna
