There are many holidays in this world. Some known as Hanukkah, Kwanza, even Fourth of July. But today I am writing about some of the students here at GJ’s favorite thing about Christmas.

Up first is one of the members of the GJ newsletter is Kiana Imperial. She has said that her favorite thing is spending time with family. Along with family she loves to give gifts to see people’s reactions.

Next we have another member of the GJ newsletter, Lura Merkle. She said that her favorite thing about Christmas is also spending time with family and giving peoples gifts.

Another student by the name of Aiden Bogli, said he enjoys having Christmas dinner being surrounded by his family on Christmas. He also wrote that just like his friends he enjoys eating lots of food and being a biggie.

Vivian, a 9th grader at GJ wrote, she loves baking and that baking with her family is one of her favorite hobbies and things to do around Christmas.

We got insight from a middle schooler at LHMS, by the name of Lydia to tell us her favorite thing about Christmas is. She has said that she enjoys her family’s tradition of a Christmas party with her family every year on Christmas Eve.

Last but not least, my favorite thing about Christmas is the amount of family I get to be surrounded by on Christmas.

I know I’m excited to be celebrating the holidays with my family and so are some of the students at GJ. But happy holidays and cheers to the new year!

Though the snowflake-shaped tiles and "swags", which are painted designs that adorn the museum year-round and resemble draping garlands, were not intended to carry a holiday mood,

Eagles On Me

Eagles On Me

While cheerleading is known for its amazing chants and matching school uniforms out on the sidelines or at competitions, the sport takes more effort than anyone could imagine. Cheerleading is often seen in a shallow light, some seeing it solely as the uniform while others see false glamour in it; but behind the s
