Meeting Evelyn Gardner
George Jenkins High School is sponsor of countless gifted athletes. We lead the charge on the field, on the track, in the diamond, on the greens, in the water, and in far more areas. Evelyn Gardner is one of these incredible champions and as part of the GJ Varsity Swim Team, she puts her abilities to the test each day. Evelyn has been a part of the swim team for two seasons now. Both seasons have been a substantial opportunity for growth and increased leadership skills across the board for her.

On Sep. 2, 2024, Lakeland’s Inklings Book Shoppe (LLC) opened a second location in Downtown Bartow. Inklings Book Shoppe had been given the opportunity of expansion after another business, Unfiltered Coffee House, had reached out to them seeking a partnership.
