Are you interested in becoming involved? The George Jenkins Eagle's Eye Newsletter offers four diverse roles that take on a variety of different tasks.
- Journalists - Journalists write news articles, editorials (opinion pieces), features (topics of interest), or whatever form of writing fits their best interest. After the article has been written, editors will review it and make proper changes.
- Photographers - Photographers take pictures of anything that can be used for articles, the website, or social media. They may also submit photographs for artistic purposes.
- Cartoonists - Cartoonists incorporate visuals, comics, and graphics to creatively express humor, ideas, and messages. They may also work with the Digital Manager to create graphics for social media.
- Editors -An editors main job is to edit and revise all articles prior to publication. Note that they do not always determine assignment topics (though, when they do, they must consider interests) but approve proposals by those who they are assigned to work with. They are the last set of eyes before publication, allowing the newsletter to reach its full potential.
